Learning Outcome: Learn about Sophie Taeuber- Arp, an important Swiss artist, and gain an appreciation of her artwork.
Success Criteria: Produce an artwork inspired by the artist in focus: Sophie Taeuber- Arp.
Instructions: Using the ideas below as an inspiration for your own work, create a design in the style of Sophie Taeuber-Arp. The actual artwork will be completed in class over the next few weeks. You can always go back and look at the online exhibition to see other examples of her work.
Idea 1: A sketch for geometric drawing/painting based on shape and line. Write the German names for the shapes you use.
Idea 2: A sketch of a Dada head. This will be an abstract portrait with some facial features. Label the facial features in German.
